Signing in
PodsCool uses your Google account to sign in. There is no separate PodsCool username or password to create, forget, or reset, so if you cannot get in, the problem is with the Google account itself and Google's own account recovery is the place to fix it.
If you are signed in but landing in the wrong place, you may have created your account under a different role. Email us and we will sort it out rather than have you make a second account.
For parents
Finding a pod. Browse the marketplace and filter by subject, grade, format and schedule. Every listing shows the teacher, the tuition, and how many places are left.
Adding your child. Add each student from your dashboard before you enroll. Children under 13 do not sign in at all - you add them as a managed profile. A student aged 13 or over can be linked to their own Google account so they can see their own classwork.
Billing. Invoices issue on the 1st and you have 7 days to review before payment is taken. If your schedule changes or you leave a pod partway through, the amount is recalculated to the exact day rather than rounded to a month.
Leaving a pod. Unenroll from the pod page. Doing it that way is what applies the refund policy correctly, so unenroll rather than simply stopping payment or blocking the teacher.
For teachers
Getting paid. You earn 85% of billed tuition, paid through Stripe in one deposit on the 10th of the month, with no transfer fees taken by us. You will need to finish Stripe onboarding before your first payout can be sent.
Your roster. Add and remove students from your dashboard. When someone joins or leaves mid-month, prorated amounts are computed for you.
Verification. Submit your credentials from your profile. Our team reviews them and grants the verified badge; it is not something you can switch on yourself, and we may come back to you for supporting documents.
Your account and your data
Two things you never need to email us about, because both are self-serve in Settings → Security:
- Download your data. Your profile and class content as a single JSON file - enrollments, grades, work turned in, quizzes, pods you created, payout history, and conversations you took part in.
- Delete your account. See Delete your account for exactly what is erased, what has to be kept, and for how long.
Write to us if deletion is blocked by a class still in progress and you need to leave sooner, if you are a parent acting on your child's behalf, or if a very large export was truncated and you want the rest.
Safety and reporting a problem
A parent can report a teacher, and a teacher can report a family, from inside the app. Either side can block a conversation from Settings → Security, which stops messages in both directions immediately.
Our safety and age suitability page explains who can message whom, what children under 13 can reach, and how reports are handled. For anything urgent, email support@podscool.com and say so in the subject line.
Still stuck
Email support@podscool.com. Telling us the email address on your account, whether you are a parent or a teacher, and which pod it concerns gets you a useful answer in one reply instead of three.
